Serve as a consultant to faculty with regard to analyzing learning needs, use of Instructional Design models and delivery systems to meet those needs, and tools to achieve and measure student learning results.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related area.
Master’s Degree in instructional engineering, education, Instructional Design, or a related discipline.
3+ years experience in the design and development of curriculum design in education using pedagogical strategies that are evidence-based learning concepts and instructional technologies.
Principal contributor in course development projects partnering with Subject Matter Experts and faculty.
3+ years of experience in the design and development of curriculum design in higher education.
University-level teaching and/or that are in-person online.
Required Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities
Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning instructional design models that are evidence-based, theory-instructional technology, and distance education.
Demonstrated experience working with curriculum, evaluation, and measurable learning outcomes.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities
Experience in implementing, creating, and supporting successful faculty development plans regarding learning and Instructional Design and teaching approaches.
The use of technology tools and Learning Management Systems, such as Captivate, to make online content. Experience in supporting student populations and faculty.
